So my friend Lars has been bitten by the bike bug. I´ll guess i´m not totally innocent of that. 🙂 Anyway, we started to plan a this fall and settled for a PlanetX Kaffenback frame set. Steel frame with disc breaks and space for 35mm tires. Since my bike shack isn´t ready yet we have to use my attic as workshop. I will also post some better pics later. =)
Lars wanted a classic look so crome bars, stem and post from Ritchey.
And of course bar tape and saddle from Brooks.
We decided to go for Shimano 105 group set with cx crankset. Brakes Avid BB7 road. We had some problems to find 700cc disk wheels in silver. But Lars finally found a pair from Charg at Evans.
Not the super light but very stylish. Since we still have a few months of winter left, Conti cycle cross will do the trick.
I must say it is a beauty. =)
Oh… And we also had a few beers.
