Everything went according to plan. Slam69 delivered the new cranks from Raceface and i fitted them on my lunch break today. After fitting the cranks and having a quick snack i had about 15 minutes for a test ride.
I took a spin down the harbor. It´s just right down the street, about a 30 second ride. Today was cold as hell with a wind making the minus 20 degrees Celsius fells like 30. The ice is ready now, ready to ride. I rolled down the bridge and went about 100 meters out on the ice. First time this year. Suddenly it hits me. This little town far away from everything and yet so close, is an amazing place.

It´s actually incredible and sometimes you get a little bit blind on your home turf. Expect lots of ice cycling posts the next few months. I guess frozen archipelago only exist here and it´s all mine.
